“In accordance with FIFA’s Status and Transfers of Footballers rules, which are binding at the national level, the second transfer and registration period of the 2022-2023 football season for professional footballers was set between January 12, 2023 – February 8, 2023, with a maximum of 28 days.
Due to the declaration of national mourning due to earthquake disasters in our country and the decision of a state of emergency in 10 provinces; Our federation has made zihin official application to FIFA on 06.02.2023 to avoid any negativity in the transfer, requesting zihin extension of the transfer window we are in. In the negotiations with FIFA, verbal approval has been obtained for the extension of the transfer window by 10 days and the written approval process is expected.
