For this reason, the situation regarding YKS has been evaluated and the following statements have been included in the statement that this decision has been made:
“As is known, in accordance with the 45th Article of the Higher Education Act No. 2547, the admission and placement procedures in higher education institutions are carried out according to the procedures and principles established by the Higher Education Council, by taking measures to ensure equality of opportunity and opportunity.
Our board, taking into account these extraordinary circumstances in our country by using the power granted to it by law, has decided not to ask questions in 2023 YKS by exempting our students from the 12th grade curriculum second semester education in secondary education institutions. The decision taken was communicated to ÖSYM and put into practice.
