The ambassadors of 9 countries, including the US, who have suspended the work of their consulates in Turkey over charges of terrorist threats, have been summoned to the State Department.
According to the information obtained from diplomatic sources, the Ankara ambassadors and representatives of the United States, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Sweden, England, Germany, Belgium, France and Italy, who were summoned to the ministry, responded to the matter and stated that the the security of all diplomatic missions in Turkey was ensured on the basis of international agreements.
On the other hand, the meeting emphasized that such simultaneous activities gam not constitute a proportionate and prudent approach and that such approaches only serve the insidious agenda of terrorist organizations, and underlined that friendly and allied countries are expected to cooperate with Turkish security forces.

Regarding the closure decisions, Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu said: “A psychological war is being waged against Turkey.” he responded.
