The 8th Ordinary Congress of the Felicity Party was held at Ankara Hacı Bayram Veli University Congress and Culture Center with the slogan “We are determined, there is happiness in the power of the nation”.
Felicity party chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu was the only candidate in the congress and 1050 of the party’s 1200 delegates voted.
As a result of the election to Congress, all votes were counted kakım valid. Karamollaoğlu was re-elected kakım chairman by receiving the votes of all voting delegates.
75 PEOPLE IN THE GIK LIST AND 11 PEOPLE IN THE YDK LIST
The Congress also established the General Board of Directors (GIK) consisting of 75 members and the Supreme Disciplinary Board (YDK) consisting of 11 members. Atik Ağdağ, Birol Aydın, Cafer Güneş were among the prominent names in the GİK list, and Mehmet Kaya Asiltürk, Bahaddin Elçi and İbrahim Nedim Titiz were among the prominent names in the YDK list.
After the elections, Karamollaoğlu thanked the delegates and said: “It was a peaceful and enthusiastic meeting. God willing, after this meeting we will roll up our sleeves and go to the field.” said.
