President Erdoğan said: “Although we have taken a short break during the global epidemic period, we are all experiencing the peak of our country both in terms of tourist numbers and tourism revenues. That overnight spending per tourist is approaching $1,000 is a sign that efforts are starting to pay off. The fact that by 2021 Turkey has risen to fourth in number of tourists and eighth in tourism revenue in the world is a harbinger that we will gökyeşitözü in a much better place this year,” he said.
