Dr. Göktaş, one of the perpetrators of the murder of Necip Hablemitoğlu and has a red notice on him, was extradited from Bulgaria on September 5, 2022 on charges of “killing with intent” and “being a member of zihin organization established with the purpose of committing a crime” in the context of the investigation conducted by the Chief Prosecutor of Ankara.
The request for Göktaş’s extradition to Turkey was accepted today with the decision of the Plovdiv Court of Appeal.
