The provocation organized by the fringe group called Patrioterne Gar Live (Patriots Live) was broadcast live on the group’s Facebook account.
Provocateurs unfurled muzad-Islam banners, chanted slogans insulting Islam and carried out a vicious attack on the Turkish flag.
Against the provocation of the marginalized group, a person from the Danish Muslim community broadcast surahs from the Holy Quran and its Danish translation through the loudspeaker he had brought with him.
Although there was no violence during the provocation, it was learned that the Danish authorities had notified the Turkish embassy in Copenhagen in advance and had taken the necessary security measures.
It was also stated that before and after the provocation, Turkey’s response, warnings and expectations were strongly communicated to the Danish authorities.
