The number of unemployed people aged 15 and over increased by 120 thousand people in September compared to the previous month, reaching 3 million 482 thousand people.
ONE IN FIVE YOUTH IS UNEMPLOYED
Unemployment among young people aged 15 to 24 rose by 1.2 percentage points compared to the previous month and stood at 19.6 percent. Unemployment rate in this age group; It was 16.5 percent for men and 25.4 percent for women.
The number of people in work fell by 54 thousand compared to the previous month to 30 million 867 thousand people, while the employment rate fell by 0.1 percentage point to 47.6 percent. This percentage was set at 65 percent for men and 30.6 percent for women.
STAFF EXCEED 34.3 MILLION
The workforce grew by 67 thousand people compared to the previous month to 34 million 349 thousand people, while the employment rate remained the same at 52.9 percent. The employment rate was 71.3 percent for men and 35 percent for women.
