Tax debts of citizens living in the earthquake zone were postponed.

The Ministry of Finance and Finance has issued a statement on this.

A “force majeure situation” was declared for taxpayers in the earthquake zone.


Tax obligations of taxpayers in these provinces have been postponed until July 31, 2023.

Using the current configuration, installment payments in March, May, and July are made in August, October, and December.

The force majeure declaration covers the earthquake-affected provinces of Kahramanmaraş, Kilis, Diyarbakır, Adana, Osmaniye, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Adıyaman, Malatya and Hatay.


WHAT IS FORCE MAJEURE?
