Important news! Defense Secretary Hulusi Akar had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart, Lloyd James Austin.
According to the Ministry of National Defense statement, bilateral and regional defense and security issues were discussed at the meeting.

The Defense Minister stated that cooperation and solidarity in the fight against terrorism will contribute to regional and global peace and security, and said that Turkey is ready to cooperate against ISIS and all other terrorist organizations in this context.
