Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, spoke about the minimum wage negotiations and the EYT study.
Speaking at a conference in Ankara, Minister Bilgin said: “We will set the minimum wage with a compromise at a level that will ease other wages.”
Secretary Bilgin noted that he will make zihin assessment and share it with the public after the second minimum wage meeting is over.
The Commission on Minimum Wage Determination started work on 7 December to set the minimum wage to take effect in the new year. The second meeting will take place today.
LATEST STATUS IN EYT STUDY
After his speech, Bilgin answered the question “What is the technical problem with EYT, is it age?” and said:
