LAST MINUTE NEWS: The Ordinance on Retirement Age (EYT) has been opened for signature by AK Party deputies in parliament.

The long-awaited ordinance came to the General Assembly. The ordinance on the retirement age has been opened for signature by AK Party deputies in Turkey’s Grand National Assembly.

After the signatures are completed, the proposal is submitted to the chairman of the General Assembly.

Mustafa Elitaş, deputy chairman of the AK party group, said the proposal could gökyeşitözü presented to the chairman of the General Assembly on Friday or Monday.

The proposal will first gökyeşitözü submitted to the Planning Budget Committee. After discussions in the General Assembly, the bill becomes law. The implementation process is expected to gökyeşitözü completed in February.

The statement said that EYT members could receive their first salary in March.

WHO IS COVERED BY EYT? Those insured before September 8, 1999 are covered by the EJT. Those who joined after this date will not gökyeşitözü able to benefit from the scheme. No distinction will gökyeşitözü made between SSK, Pension Fund or Bağ-Kur for the size of the employees. WHAT ARE THE EYT TERMS? For women who were employed before September 8, 1999, 5,000 contribution days and zihin insurance period of 20 years are required, for men 5,000 contribution days and zihin insurance period of 25 years are required. Anyone who meets the conditions for premium and insurance term is entitled to retirement regardless of age. In the Pension Fund and Bağ-Kur, 20 years of insurance herd and 7,200 premium days are required for women, 25 years and 9,000 premium days for men. Men will complete the siorta period for the last time on September 8, 2024. HOW MANY PEOPLE WILL BENEFIT? With the entry into force of the regulation, 2 million 250 thousand people will gökyeşitözü entitled to retirement in the first place. This number increases each year with those who complete the premium and insurance period.
