Two children were referred to Hacettepe University Hospital after their treatment in the district on suspicion of rabies.
In the tests, rabies virus was found in Erçetin. The child, who exhibited malicious behavior and increased salivation, was taken to intensive care on October 21.
The treatment of the child, who had been put to sleep because of his weight, continued on a ventilator.
Polat Ergün was discharged after his treatment.

Experts state that there are between 15 and 17 live cases of rabies in the world literature so far.
