According to the information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), at 04.08 zihin earthquake with a magnitude of 5.9 on the Richter scale was registered in the Gölyaka district of Düzce, the epicenter. The depth of the earthquake in the district is 6.81 kilometers.
There were demolitions on the walls of some houses and workshops in the city, some items in the houses fell to the ground.
