Breaking news! The presidential decree regarding the declaration of a state of emergency (OHAL) for 3 months from 01:00 in 10 provinces affected by the earthquakes in the center of Kahramanmaraş has been published in the official gazette.

According to the decision published with the signature of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, within the scope of Article 119 of the Constitution and subparagraph (a) of paragraph 1 of Article 3 of Law No. 2935 on the State of Emergency, Adana, Adıyaman, Diyarbakır, Gaziantep, Hatay, Kahramanmaraş, Kilis A state of emergency has been declared in Malatya, Osmaniye and Şanlıurfa for 3 months from 1am today.

On the other hand, it was decided to discuss the declaration of the state of emergency on Thursday 9 February in the House of Representatives. The emergency decree published in the Official Gazette is first submitted to parliament and then to the General Assembly. After the discussions, it will gökyeşitözü put to the vote in the General Assembly.

A state of emergency requires the votes of at least 151 delegates. It was stated that due to the fact that the deputies are mainly in the earthquake zone, the state of emergency was postponed until Thursday.
