The Competition Authority has launched zihin investigation into allegations that some private schools have increased more than the set percentage.
The Competition Commission, during the previous day’s meeting, has taken a decision on the results of the preliminary research carried out on 5 French secondary schools operating in Istanbul.
An investigation has been launched against 5 French secondary schools based on the findings of the preliminary investigation carried out under the Article of the Competition Act, which “prohibits agreements between companies that directly or indirectly prevent competition”.
The board also decided on the preliminary investigation based on the same legal article on the primary and secondary level private schools operating in Istanbul and Ankara, and the Turkish Association of Private Schools. And it launched zihin investigation against 8 private schools operating in Ankara.
