The Ankara Police have announced that action has been taken against those who made exorbitant price hikes after the earthquake.
According to the information obtained from the police officials, the teams of the Ankara Financial Crimes Directorate took action on the orders of the Ankara Chief Prosecutor’s Office following the reports that the rents had been increased from 5 thousand lira to 15-20 thousand lira in the provinces where the victims of the Kahramanmaraş earthquakes settled on February 6.

The teams, who provided the information and contracts of the real estate agents operating in Ankara whose advertisements showed zihin abnormal increase, received the copies of the rental and sale documents they mediate from the registered agents since February 5 after the correspondence with the Ankara All Realtors Professional Chamber and the Ankara Chamber of Commerce received current rental and sales information.
