The bus carrying earthquake victims crashed in Adana.
The accident occurred near the D-400 Müminli Mahallesi highway. The bus, which was taking the earthquake-stricken students preparing for university in the Iskenderun and Antakya districts of Hatay to Konya to KYK’s dormitory, collided with a truck carrying coal in front.
While the bus carrying 48 people, including 2 drivers and 2 teachers, was demolished, a large number of police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene of the accident after being notified.
The check performed by the medical team that reached the scene of the accident found that teacher Hanife Şahin and one of the students Merve Genç lost their lives.
The 6 injured have been transferred to hospitals in Adana. It was reported that the condition of two of the injured who were treated was serious.
